Standard vs Standard Plus neck
The neck is the smooth collar that passes through the gum. A taller neck (Standard, 2.8 mm) places the join higher above the bone; a shorter neck (Standard Plus, 1.8 mm) is often chosen where appearance matters or the gum is thinner. The choice is made by the clinician for each site.1
TLC vs TLX
Both are tissue-level implants on TorcFit. TLX belongs to the X-Line, which Straumann positions for immediacy, with a fully tapered body.3 TLC belongs to the C-Line, which Straumann describes as tapered implants with slim apexes for all indications.2 Don't read it as 'premium vs cheaper'. They are different designs.
