Straumann's MRI safety information states that patients with implants from the Straumann® Dental Implant System can be scanned safely under specific conditions (MR Conditional): 1.5 T and 3 T only, with limits on spatial gradient and SAR. 12
'MR Conditional' is not the same as 'safe under all conditions'. The radiology team must check the conditions.
