Conditions that matter to patients
According to the form, the guarantee requires, among other things:1
- Straumann products used exclusively, not combined with other manufacturers' products (except recommended combinations).
- A completed guarantee form within 90 days of a guarantee case.
- Following Straumann's instructions and recognised dental procedures.
- Good oral hygiene of the patient, as monitored by the dentist.
- No damage from accidents or trauma.
A manufacturer guarantee is not the same as a clinic's treatment guarantee. Ask for both in writing.

Does Straumann pay for my treatment if an implant fails?
The standard guarantee covers replacement of Straumann products, not associated treatment costs. The Lifetime Plus provision adds a treatment compensation only for Roxolid® and PURE Ceramic implant fractures.1
Can I claim the guarantee myself?
The form states the guarantee applies in favour of the treating dentist, and third parties, particularly patients, may not derive rights from it.1
