Who makes Straumann implants, and where?

Straumann implants are filed with regulators by Institut Straumann AG, whose address on its documents is Peter Merian-Weg 12, Basel, Switzerland.12 The company belongs to the Straumann Group, which also owns brands such as Neodent, Anthogyr and Medentika.3

Brand, manufacturer and factory are different things

The legal manufacturer is the company responsible for the device. The place where a specific part was produced can differ. Your implant packaging and passport show the legal manufacturer of your implant. We only publish specific manufacturing sites when we can verify them.
